Completed Projects
The
primary focus of the Upper Ocean Processes Group is the study
of physical processes in the upper ocean and at the air-sea interface
using moored surface buoys equipped with meteorological and oceanographic
sensors. Recent projects for which field work has been completed
include the Coupled Boundary Layer – Air Sea Transfer (CBLAST)
experiment, the Pan-American Climate Study (PACS),
and the Coastal Mixing and Optics (CMO)
moored array experiment.
