Real Time Data

Hourly averaged meteorological data for the current deployment of the WHOI Hawaii Ocean Time Series Station are received via Service Argos four times daily. Preliminary data is displayed in unedited form as time series plots, and is available for download as ASCII files.

The tenth WHOTS buoy was was deployed from the R.V. Hi'ialakai at 04:26:53 UTC on 2013/07/11, at 22° 40.118´ N, 157° 57.010´ W, in 4756 m of water (corrected depth). The WHOTS site is WMO station 51400, and is NDBC Partner Platform 51WH0.

The ninth WHOTS buoy was deployed at 02:23 UTC on 14 June, 2012 from the NOAA ship Hi'ialakai, at approximately 22° 45´ N 157° 55´ and recovered on July 14, 2013.
