Upper Ocean Mooring Data Repository - MLML 89: The Marine Light - Mixed Layer Experiment
Overview:
The Marine Light - Mixed Layer Experiment took place in the sub-Arctic North Atlantic ocean, approximately 275 miles south of Reykjavik, Iceland. Data from a buoy fielded in 1989 is presented here.
The experiment was funded by the Office Of Naval Research.

Meteorological Sensors
A Velocity Averaging Wind Recorder (VAWR 705) was deployed.
Ocean Sensors
7 currrent meters and 10 Brancker temperature recorders were deployed over 750 meters of water.
